Mountains
Mountains can be formed by folding and faulting. Folded mountains are formed when tectonic plates push against each other, forcing them up. Some mountains formed by folding are,

Islands
Islands can be formed by volcanic activity. When volcanoes erupt, lava gushes onto the land. Once the lava hardens, it widens the land, making an island. Mountains can also be formed this way. An island formed by volcanic activity is,
